Takedown requests

Version 2026-10-31. Leer en español

For creators who want their videos out of Ripp.

How Ripp uses creators’ videos

When someone shares a public Reel or TikTok with Ripp, Ripp keeps a short silent clip of each Movement in the video so their Routine can play it. The clips are kept privately, on Ripp’s servers and on that person’s iPhone, and are never public: Ripp gives a link that expires within hours, and only to the Ripp app of someone who added that video. Every Routine credits the creator and links back to the original. Ripp keeps no whole video.

Ask Ripp to remove your video

Write to takedown@ripp.app with:

Ripp answers within 48 hours, and asks for nothing more than it needs to find the video and confirm the request. You don’t need a lawyer or a formal notice; an email is enough.

What happens next

Ripp deletes every clip it stored from that video, stops reading that video for anyone, and stops serving it to any Ripp app, so no Routine can fetch it again. The Routines read from it stay as text, credited to you and linked to the original. Clips already saved on a person’s iPhone stay on that iPhone until Ripp’s next update that syncs Libraries removes them; they aren’t shared from there.

Ripp confirms by email once it’s done, and keeps your request, with the link and your message, for as long as the video stays blocked, so it isn’t read again.
