What is Ripp?
Ripp is an iPhone app that turns workout, stretching and mobility videos from Instagram Reels and TikTok into Routines you can follow. Each Movement gets its clip from the video, step-by-step instructions, short cues, and any time or reps the creator gave.
Ripp works with public Reels and TikToks. It reads each video automatically, and a reading can be wrong, so check a Routine against the creator’s video before you follow it.
How do I put Ripp at the front of the share sheet?
The first time, Ripp may sit at the end of the share sheet’s row of apps. Add Ripp to Favorites and it stays at the front:
- Swipe the apps to the end, in the row that starts with AirDrop.
- Tap More, then Edit.
- Tap + next to Ripp.
Is Ripp free? What does Pro add?
Ripp has two plans, Free and Pro. As of October 2026:
- Free keeps one unlocked Routine at a time, plus Ripp’s sample. Your other Routines stay in your Library, locked: you see each one’s title, creator and number of Movements, and you can unlock one in place of the one you have. Free rips up to 3 Reels or TikToks in any 30 days, one at a time, and has no Collections.
- Pro unlocks every Routine, with no limit on how many you keep, and adds Collections. It rips within fair use: up to 20 Reels or TikToks an hour, 60 in 24 hours and 400 in 30 days, with up to 3 ripping at once.
A rip counts once it works. A rip that fails doesn’t count, and neither does the sample or sharing a Reel or TikTok that’s already in your Library.
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription, or, where it’s offered, Pro Lifetime: a single payment that gives you Pro for as long as Ripp runs Pro, with no renewals. Apple sells and bills Pro through your Apple Account, and Ripp shows the price for your country before you buy.
If Pro ends, nothing is deleted. One Routine stays unlocked, your most recently saved one unless you choose another, and your other Routines and Collections lock until Pro starts again.
How do I cancel Pro?
Cancel at any time in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Ripp. In Ripp, Manage subscription in Profile opens the same screen.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Pro then lasts until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting Ripp, or your Ripp account, doesn’t cancel the subscription.
Pro Lifetime doesn’t renew, so there’s nothing to cancel.
How do I get Pro back on a new iPhone?
Open Profile in Ripp and tap Restore purchases. The Pro screen has Restore purchases too. Pro belongs to the Apple Account that bought it, so use the same one. If Ripp says “No Pro purchase found for this Apple Account.”, check which Apple Account the iPhone uses for the App Store.
How do I ask for a refund?
Apple sells and bills Pro, so Apple handles refunds under its own terms. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or from Profile in Ripp. Ripp can’t refund an Apple purchase itself.
Nothing here limits any right to cancel or get a refund that the law gives you.
How do I follow a Routine step by step?
Open a Routine and tap Play. Ripp shows each Movement’s clip full screen, with its name and any time or reps the creator gave. A timed Movement counts down after a short Get ready, and Ripp goes on to the next one by itself. For reps, tap Next when you’re done.
- Tap the right side of the screen for the next Movement, the left side to go back, and the middle to pause or resume.
- Hold a finger on the screen to pause, and lift it to carry on.
- Swipe left for the next Movement and right to go back. Swipe up for the Movement’s instructions and cues, and swipe down to close Play.
- Spread two fingers to see only the video. Pinch or swipe up to bring everything back.
- The bell at the top turns the countdown’s sound off or on.
With VoiceOver, a two-finger double tap pauses or resumes, and a two-finger scrub closes Play.
Go at your own pace: a time or number of reps is the creator’s suggestion, not a target. Stop if anything hurts.
How do Collections work?
A Collection is a shelf you name, such as “Back pain”. It holds whole Routines and single Movements, so you can keep the one stretch you like from a longer Routine.
- Tap the bookmark on a Routine or a Movement, or press and hold it in your Library or Search, and choose Save to Collection. You can make a new Collection there, or with + in your Library.
- A Collection’s ⋯ menu has Rename Collection, Reorder Movements and Delete Collection. Deleting a Collection keeps its Routines and Movements in your Library.
Collections are part of Pro. On Free they show locked.
A Routine is wrong. How do I report it?
Open the Routine, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report a Problem. Pick what went wrong, such as a missed Movement or the wrong time, reps or side. Choose the Movement and add a note if you like, then send it. Every report is checked against the Reel or TikTok, and it makes the next reading better.
If you have no connection, the report waits on your iPhone and is sent later. You can also fix a Routine yourself: rename a Movement, adjust its clip, or set your own time or reps.
Spotted a Routine that could hurt someone? Report it, or write to hello@ripp.app.
Does Ripp keep the video? How are creators credited?
Ripp keeps a short clip of each Movement, without sound, so your Routine can play it. The clips are private: they’re never public, and only the Ripp app of someone who added that Reel or TikTok can play them.
The videos belong to their creators. Every Routine credits the creator, as in “Reel by @handle”, and links back to the original, so you can watch it there.
I made the video. How do I get it removed from Ripp?
Write to takedown@ripp.app with:
- the link to each Reel or TikTok;
- your name, and the account or rights you hold in the video;
- a statement that you own the video or act for the person who does.
Ripp answers within 48 hours. It then deletes what it keeps of the video, stops reading that video for anyone, and removes it from Routines in Ripp.
How do I delete my account?
Delete your account in Profile in Ripp at any time. Ripp then deletes your account, your Library and your problem reports at once, and revokes its Sign in with Apple access.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Pro subscription. Apple keeps billing until you cancel it, so cancel it first. Pro Lifetime stays with your Apple Account.
How do I contact Ripp?
Write to hello@ripp.app about anything. For a creator’s takedown request, write to takedown@ripp.app.
